Bolton School Wedding Photography: Jamie and Lewis

What they say: We are absolutely blown away by our wedding photographs. It’s like watching the day again in real time and we get so emotional looking at them. Ed really managed to convey all the emotions of the day and we are so amazed by his talent. Many of our guests commented on how brilliant Ed was on the day. From start to finish Ed was fantastic. Thank you so much. We are in awe.

Jamie and Lewis had their wedding at Bolton School. Bolton School was a new wedding venue for me and wow - I was totally blown away by it! The venue and grounds were absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for Jamie and Lewis' very special wedding day.

On the wedding morning, Jamie got ready and home with her family and her bridesmaids, while Lewis prepared at a hotel nearby, before making his way to Bolton School to greet their wedding guests.

Their favourite moment of the whole day "other than marrying each other, was doing our secret mash up first dance!" This was a real highlight for me - Jamie and Lewis surprised all of their guests with a choreographed first dance, which started slow and then mashed-up into something with a lot of energy. It really got the party started!

It was important to Jamie and Lewis to include their late family and friends so they created a memory ladder, which was on display in the venue throughout the day.

Jamie and Lewis had acoustic saxophone through toast drinks, and then Ibiza sax played throughout the evening, which kept everyone on the dance floor. There were elements of their love of travel sprinkled throughout the day too.

Their advice to future brides and grooms is to "spend your night on the dance floor" and to "take a few moments out throughout the day to stop and take everything in."

They also say: "Don’t worry about things that might go wrong - just go with the flow and enjoy it. You only get one wedding day!"

Thank you Jamie and Lewis for giving me a really fun, unique, high-energy wedding to photograph!
