The Pheasant Hotel Wedding Photography: Holly and Andy

What they say:  Thank you Ed for being such a fantastic wedding photographer!  From start to finish Ed had thought of every detail which meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves, and our wedding day ran smoothly as a result.

His pre-wedding advice emails were really helpful and on the day itself we could not have managed without him! From scouting out photo locations to organising our guests he was the dream photographer. We cannot recommend Ed highly enough!

Holly and Andy had their wedding day in the village of Harome, North Yorkshire. It's truly beautiful there, and I love Yorkshire wedding photography, so I was delighted to be asked to be their Pheasant Hotel wedding photographer.

They both got ready in separate cottages at The Pheasant Hotel, before heading across the road for their ceremony at St. Saviour’s Church.  They then returned with their guests for a sunny drinks reception in the gardens, during which we could create some truly lovely Pheasant Hotel wedding photography.

The bride’s sister is a very skilled baker and made a stunning wedding cake, while the Mother of the Bride used her talent as a florist to produce some amazing arrangements for the church and the reception.  This added an extra-special touch to the day for them; “We asked talented friends and family to help out, so all the flowers, table decorations and the cake were so much more personal.”

The village of Harome provided an absolutely stunning backdrop for some North Yorkshire wedding photography, and we used the gorgeous bridal suite for some portraits too! As their Pheasant Hotel wedding photographer, this really made the day for me!

Holly and Andy’s advice to brides and grooms is to “get a great photographer like Ed, it honestly made our day so relaxed. It meant we were able to have some time together after the ceremony which was so special.”  Their favourite moment of the day was “having [their] family and closest friends in the same room, which doesn’t happen very often, was amazing. It was such a happy day from start to finish.”
