Devon and Connor's Hotel du Vin wedding was super-cool and very classy. I loved photographing them having the best day of their lives surrounded by their friends and family.
As I only live a few minutes away from Hotel du Vin in Newcastle, it was so special for me to photograph a wedding so close to the place I call home.
Connor got ready in the morning with his groomsmen at home, while Devon and her bridal party had their prep at Hotel du Vin.
Devon and Connor both love gin and decided to go with a gin theme for their wedding, which worked really well in the Hotel du Vin setting. This meant they were able to get crafty with their table settings - and was a great excuse to get through lots of gin bottles before their big day!
Their favourite moment of the whole day was seeing each other at the end of the aisle. Devon says; "It just felt like such a relief! We were so overwhelmed and happy."
Their advice to future brides and grooms is: "to take time out on your wedding day just the two of you" and to " try to spend as much time with each other as possible on the day so you can enjoy it together because it really flies by so quickly!"
