What they say: It’s crazy how as a bride, I stumbled upon Ed at my first wedding fair and before I knew it I was speaking to Ed again with my husband to be at my second wedding fair and he was booked. There is just something about Ed's energy that made me (as a very self conscious bride) feel at ease and I just knew from our first conversation he was our wedding photographer.
Everything Ed did from start to finish was everything we needed. The pre-wedding shoot to help us feel comfortable, exploring different shots and seeing how we worked together on photographs was so helpful as it meant that we were confident Ed would have the most amazing shots of our wedding day. Plus the bonus photos we received from the pre wedding shoot were simply amazing. And of course getting our Cockapoo involved in the shoot too!
Then our wedding day came and I can hand on heart say that my now husband and I do not know what we would’ve done without Ed there. Ed just knew every answer to every question a bride has on the morning of her wedding and he even helped make sure I was in my dress correctly! He kept us laughing, kept us calm and embraced all the chaos with us whilst being so professional and getting some amazing shots in without us even noticing!
Throughout the day Ed took every opportunity he could, going above and beyond to make sure that he got every perfect shot. He was great company on a whirlwind day, gave us the most spectacular photos to remember our day with and although we hired Ed as our wedding photographer, we ended our wedding day with a great friend who we would certainly use again for any life event and recommend to everyone!!

I couldn't wait to photograph Shannon and Elliot's Linden Hall Wedding. Linden Hall is such a beautiful exclusive wedding venue in Northumberland! It really has it all: the beautiful old hall, the stunning grounds, and (perhaps most importantly!) incredible food.
Shannon chose to have her bridal preparations at Linden Hall, while Elliot got ready at home with his groomsmen, before he made his way to the wedding venue to oversee the finishing touches being put in place for the day. Following this, he made time to have a drink with his groomsmen before the guests arrived.
Shannon and Elliot's favourite moment of the whole day was when they finally reunited at the alter. They say "there’s no stranger feeling than just standing there, saying hello to each other and just laughing at how you’re both crying happy tears! It’s honestly such a surreal feeling!!"
Shannon and Elliot recommend going with the flow; "Our day was special because of the little things that went wrong, because your wedding will never run smoothly and that’s okay! You’ll still look back and know that your day was perfect, hiccups and all!"
Cooper, their cockapoo, made a special appearance during the drinks reception too. They say: "Dogs are family too and we are absolutely team include your dog in your wedding!!
Shannon's advice to future brides is to "embrace every single moment because it goes over so quickly! To just take at least one moment to breathe, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you look beautiful, because you’re never going to see yourself look like a bride again and you truly do look beautiful no matter what any insecurities say!"
Elliot says to future grooms: "Don't panic over little things and remember to pack everything you need! "
Thank you again Shannon and Elliot for asking me to be your Linden Hall wedding photographer - I loved every minute!
